As a result, and in our efforts to best serve you, we collect and maintain certain personal information about you such as your name, address and telephone number. At the same time, we recognize and respect your privacy and strive to protect the trust you have placed in Southeast Aviation. We fully support and are committed to complying with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act , the new legislation enacted to protect the privacy of the individual. We have developed this Privacy Protection Policy of which the objective is to specify the guidelines for governing the collection and use of personal information by Southeast Aviation.

At Southeast Aviation we take seriously the responsibility we have for protecting all personal information we hold or have under our control, including your personal information, that with your permission, we pass on to other suppliers to make your reservation. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

It is the responsibility of our Privacy Protection Officer to ensure our constant compliance with legislation and this policy. Also, it is the responsibility of the Privacy Protection Officer to make sure that the personal information entrusted with us is secure and will not be used for purposes other than what is necessary to offer the service our clients deserve.

Southeast Aviation will limit the collection of personal information to that which is necessary for the identified purposes and will collect this information by fair and lawful means.

By disclosing your personal information to us through a travel agent, over the telephone, in writing or in person with a customer service representative of Southeast Aviation or using our website, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information by Southeast Aviation as stated in this Privacy Protection Policy.

What does Southeast Aviation do with the information collected?

Southeast Aviation may use the information provided by you for one or more of the following purposes:

• To contact you about your holiday;
• To respond to your inquiries about your travel and other services;
• To meet legal, security and regulatory requirements;
• To understand your needs and preferences and to offer products and services to meet those needs.

Will Southeast Aviation ever disclose my information to third parties?

Southeast Aviation may disclose your personal information to:

• A third party for provision of any of Southeast Aviation’ products or services for which the information was expressly collected, including hoteliers, airlines, ground handlers and other travel service providers whom we have retained to provide services to you;

• A third party retained by Southeast Aviation to perform functions on its behalf;
• A third party credit card processing company that will use your information in settling your account with your bank or card issuer.

Southeast Aviation has various security measures and procedures in place to ensure that all personal information is protected from misuse and from unauthorizedaccess. These safeguards may include:

Can I limit the use and disclosure of my personal information?

If you prefer that Southeast Aviation does not use or disclose your information for any or all of these purposes, you may notify us of such at any time, subject to any legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting our Privacy Protection Officer as indicated at the bottom of this document. If you do not notify us, we will consider you to have consented to our continued use and disclosure of your information for these purposes. A notification that we not use or disclose your information for certain of these purposes may result in Southeast Aviation not being able to fulfill your travel needs.

How can I access the personal information Southeast Aviation has about me?

We will establish and maintain a file of personal information about each Southeast Aviation customer. Your file will be kept by us and will be accessible to you. Only Southeast Aviation employees, agencies and advisors who need access to your file in the course of their duties and for the purposes identified will be given access to it.

Our Privacy Protection Officer will receive and respond to your inquiries and complaints regarding the protection and privacy of your personal information. You have the right to access your file and to request rectification of any personal information in it that may be obsolete, incomplete or incorrect. Your request for access may be made in writing to the Privacy Protection Officer at our offices in Ketchikan.

We will take steps to validate the identity of the person making the request to ensure we do not provide information to anyone not authorized to receive it. We may use your personal information to do so. We may charge you a reasonable administration fee for providing access to your file in accordance with your request. Normally we will respond to your request within 30 days of receiving it.
