2021 Health Protocol | Southeast Aviation
Southeast Aviation is committed to providing the safest experience possible for our guests and staff. As part of that pledge, we are working hard to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
While vaccinations are being distributed quickly and successfully in Alaska, Southeast Aviation continues to adhere to CDC recommendations as well as local and state mandates. In addition to existing safety policies, we have implemented the following practices to ensure the health of our guests and staff:
All staff complete a health check and have their temperature taken at the beginning of each shift, which is recorded in a log.
Staff showing symptoms will be sent to home quarantine or to the Ketchikan Medical Center. Staff will not be allowed to return to work without proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
All equipment is sanitized before each and every departure.
Masks are required for all staff and guests (except children under two years of age) inside the Southeast Aviation offices, vans and planes.
Hand sanitizer is available and required upon entry and exit from all planes, vans and offices.
Guests with visible signs of symptoms will have their temperature taken and complete a health interview before being granted or denied participation.
Regularly sanitized restrooms are available to guests.
